Genica is close to completing an innovative online learning disability assessment and pricing tool that will help ensure the right cost of care for both providers and local authorities. The new tool is part of Genica's ongoing investment in Software as a Service tools that support its consulting work.
Genica has been awarded a contract to deliver an actual cost of care exercise with two authorities and a care association in the north of England. The project will involve a substantial consultation, data collection and analysis process, with the result of the work informing further discussions between the authorities and providers. Tim Slorick, one of Genica's Directors, said: "We are delighted to have won this piece of work and are very much looking forward to working with all three organisations on this project. Our approach focuses on collecting data through an efficient, easy-to-use online tool and then using a flexible analytical model to support detailed analysis. We're pleased that we can support all parties in this important project." Visit our Adult Social Care section for more information.
